    I was looking for a non plastic alternative for floss. I had purchased some at a local zero waste shop, and I think it was cotton based with wax. I found that the cotton product felt stringy, or would fray during use. The silk material in the public goods floss feels much more durable. It does not have the same fraying during use. It is thicker than typical 'glide' flosses, but overall I like using it and it is a good alternative to plastic.
